The Sales Account Manager - SSLV will be responsible to manage and direct the sales in Dubai for new customers of the AFT- Division’s Dubai branch operations.

  • Responsible for the profit / loss of branch sales operation to meet the budgeted sales target.
  • Prepare sales plan and manage sales for new accounts.
  • Generate new customer accounts.
  • Sales meetings, site survey visits, collect and provide all necessary sales enquiry input for estimate and submit quotation and tenders for security and LV systems.
  • Provide major managerial input in tendering and job estimation activities.
  • Prepare monthly sales and sales project pipeline report. 
  • Plan, monitor, and coordinate and develop new sales accounts and projects. Generate continuous and constant business opportunity. 
  • Follow-up for invoicing and collections of sales on executed projects and jobs. 
  • Respond directly to sales enquiry calls from clients.
  • Present prospective clients with the department’s full range of product range and services.
  • Ensure healthy customer relation for repeat orders from new and existing clients.

The Sales Account Manager - SSLV will report to the Sales Manager, however, channels exists for direct communication with the Head of Division and other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. 

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering specialised in electrical / electronics or related disciplines. Masters in Business Administration is a plus. Minimum of 5+ years proven experience in sales of security & low voltage systems. in the U.A.E. Well versed in dealing with senior business management and other senior stakeholders. Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles. Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills. Ability to conceptualize client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies. Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion. 

Knowledge of security & low voltage products, technical descriptions and applications. Knowledge of security system regulatory requirement in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & western region and other UAE emirates in general. Knowledge of industry-specific quality and productivity standards. Technical know-how related to specific project requirements.

Proven track record for generating new business into strategic enterprise accounts; primarily driving strategic, enterprise-wide cloud consulting and enterprise solution integration sales. A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals. Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative oriented environment. Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts. Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications. Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.

The Sales Account Manager will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound communication and articulation skills. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace. Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
