About the Position:

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Executive supports the management of all SEO activities such as onsite optimisation, content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks for the various brand websites within the eCommerce business.

 The main focus of the role is to assist the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to analyse, review and implement changes to the websites so they are optimized for search engines. This means maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines.

 In addition the JH will work with the content team to develop original content that includes keywords to increase traffic to our sites whilst also analysing the websites regularly for improvements. A good knowledge of keyword research and SEO copywriting is essential to assist in the liaison between various departments and brands.

 

About You:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certification in Marketing, Retail Management, Advertising or related field
  • Good experience in SEO
  • Good knowledge of Online Marketing and Campaign management/Analytics tools (e.g., Coremetrics, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

 

Work Experience required  - The successful candidate will possess:

 

  • 2+ years in Digital Marketing with at least 12 months in SEO (in a support role) preferably in a multi-channel or pure-play environment
  • Good experience of keyword and conversion analysis, landing page analysis, keyword analysis
  • Experience in driving incremental traffic through implementing SEO best practises
