About the Position:

We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to be based in Dubai. The purpose of this role is to act as a trusted advisor to senior line management on all human capital management matters; to ensure a keen understanding of the business strategy, priorities and operating model to ensure the right people capabilities are in place to deliver.  Implement and align the HR strategies and cyclical agenda; enable a culture of performance, meritocracy and diversity; and comply with Group HR policies whilst always looking for opportunities of operational excellence.

The full details of responsibilities are listed below:

Core
 To translate the function strategy and priorities into an HR strategy
 To provide thought through and effective business cases for the resolution of identified issues to be presented to the Business Head / Senior HR BP
 To act as a strategic partner with the business in advising, coaching and mentoring management on people related issues
 To support and facilitate the implementation of business structure reorganisation and consolidation to deliver efficiencies
 Have an understanding of the business, in particular the sources of profit and the cost base to support with the implementation of HR strategies and practices
Attract
 To identify key roles that need to be sourced and ensure that the right talent acquisition strategy is applied and followed
 To prioritise and ensure that the right talent is being attracted and sourced to key roles in the finance function across all geographies
 To align recruitment for all businesses against the right organisation structure, functional competencies and skill level required for the future of the business
 To ensure candidates are the right behavioural fit for the business
Engage
 To manage the Employee Engagement survey for the business, ensuring all impact plans have been submitted and implemented in the business
 To manage Employee Relations issues within the business, supporting line managers to create a culture of employee engagement based upon Al-Futtaim values
Develop
 Plays an integral role in the Talent Review processes, challenging and providing input to their line managers decisions
 Aligned to the HR Talent Review process, ensure that across the function has the right talent identified and development plans are implemented
 To provide input into the Business Learning Needs Analysis for the business to support the accomplishments of key business metrics
 Practice internal mobility throughout the function across all lines of business and countries for development and retention purposes and to support business priorities and criticalities
Retain
 To ensure that compliance of HR policy is maintained to review and strengthen business internal controls and procedures
 To conduct annual salary adjustment and bonus reviews across the business
 Aligned to Total Rewards policies and practices, ensure that the right compensation structures are in place for the function for role size and performance
 Conduct thorough data analysis to support business cases
 Promote and actively support the Nationalisation plan for the function
Enablers
 To contribute to Group wide projects outside of the business
 To conduct the annual manpower and budgeting exercise accurately and efficiently. 

 

About You:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Human Resource, Psychology or Business Management Degree. CIPD qualification desirable

Minimum Experience: Five years HR Generalist Experience. Previous experience as a HR Business Partner.  Previous experience working in a dynamic operating model

Job-Specific Skills: Business acumen, HR data analytics, project management, change management, stakeholder management, relationship management and strong interpersonal skills
