Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC) is part of the Al Futtaim's Automotive Division. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers – Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers.

About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Regional Operations Manager to join the FastFit team within Al Futtaim Auto Centres (ALAC), based in Dubai.The main purpose of this role is to provide an excellent Aftersales service to customers, whilst ensuring the achievement of, or exceeding the location’s monthly / annual sales and profitability budget / target. The role holder will manage all FastFit locations and exercise control in all areas, facility, manpower and operations.

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for promoting a culture of excellent customer service whilst ensuring the achievement of regional sales and profitability targets; creating and implementing effective sales and operational strategies and lead regional direct sales personnel towards the achievement of national sales objectives; developing competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient organization; providing leadership through effective communication, active coaching and development; ensuring effective hiring, training and individual development and retention plans are in place for direct reports and teams; providing supervision through thorough field visits, observations and measurement of results, which will be used for proactive development plans; proactively identify changes in the market, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify sales strategies and tactics; preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts; partner with peers within the Al-Futtaim Group and other group companies; establishing effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities; attend / hold meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.

It is a requirement of the Regional Operations Manager to establish a real understanding of your teams strengths and weaknesses by leading from the front.

About You:

To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate and will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Technical Training, Business Development or Sales role within the Aftersales arena of the Automotive industry.

It is essential that you have a strong commercial awareness of the Automotive Aftersales industry, it's products and services.  This role involves an element of local travel and therefore a driving licence is essential.

As prior sales experience is a requirement for this position it is expected that you will have strong negotiation skills along with the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues of varying levels.  You will act as the face of the company and therefore will have a proactive, professional and presentable nature.
