About the Position:

We have recently set up a Transformation Management Office and are currently looking to appoint a Strategy Manager based in Dubai.

Reporting to the Director - Transformation Management Office, the Strategy Manager will build an overall Transformation plan and drive logic and analysis on framing analysis for initiative decisions. He/she will be the primary interface between the Chief Transformation Officer and the Transformation Managers.

As part of our newly established Transformation Office, this role will have the below responsibilities: 

  • Drives / coordinates strategy and business planning in context of transformation
  • Develops long term view on initiatives – sponsors / senior executives quantify the effort and requirements to deliver initiatives
  • Helps CTO manage Transformation Managers including on how to structure methods and resolve emerging issues
  • Serve as primary interface between transformation managers and CTO
  • Meets / collaborates with transformation managers to help clarify scope
  • Coordinate across transformation teams to ensure that improvements, feedback are aligned and all transformation managers are aligned
  • Trains team members on key elements of relevant initiatives including objectives
  • Understands standard management methods, helps prioritize initiatives, anticipates issues
  • Develops detailed timeline including milestones, dependencies, team organization and budget
  • Keeps CTO updated with 2 x per week statuses
  • Prepares Executive Committee meeting reports
  • Leads analyses and options evaluations and presents recommendations
  • Develop deep familiarity with enterprise level recommendations and potential interventions for each initiative

 

 

 

About You:

The minimum requirements we have for this role are as follows:

• Management consultant or strong finance background across variety of sectors
• Deep understanding of transformation and initiative management
• Experience in building and implementing broad scale cross enterprise initiatives

• Strong interpersonal skills / emotional intelligence – ability for anticipating conflict and
