Enterprise IT

Al-Futtaim Enterprise IT provides support to the Al-Futtaim Group across all geographies. It manages the IT application and infrastructure across various lines of business including Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services. The core components of EIT are Business Application Management, Infrastructure &Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance.

About the Position:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Solution Expert - Finance to work as part of the Application Support team, within the Enterprise IT department of Al Futtaim.  The role will be based from our Dubai office and will report into the Senior Manager - Business Applications - Finance.  The main purpose of this role is to provide direction and guidance to support and deliver Business Solutions in their domain expertise aligned with IT strategy.

It is the responsibility of the Solution Expert - Finance to lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance; to liaise with software suppliers for RFI and RFP processes for sourcing software services and solutions for the business; to build TCO and support business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support. Build a lean, skilled and fully engaged team; working with them to plan and prioritise their workloads, set objectives, conduct appraisals and support to continually improve their performance and results alongside liaising with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics and avoid any escalations. 

 

 

About You:

To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate of Accounting / Information Technology or a related discipline and will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the design, configuration, testing, debugging, delivery and support of SAP FICO processes, and 3 full SAP project life cycles of significant size, scope and complexity. It is essential that you have an excellent  insight into technical and functional aspect of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 10 and 10.1 and SAP FICO.

SAP Solution :

  • The candidate should have expert functional and configuration knowledge in all areas of SAP FI/CO, Withholding tax, VAT and Treasury modules.
  • In-depth working knowledge in FICO implementations, data migrations, rollouts, upgrades,  distributed architecture environment and business process re-engineering etc.,
  • Understand dependency between FI and CO and Integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, DBM, HR, PS and BI) and external applications.
  • Strong business process knowledge stretching beyond SAP functionality in the Automotive, Treasury, Engineering, Trading & Retail Industries.
  • Understands delivery within a context of possible constraints (e.g., cost, schedule) and able to operate effectively within those constraints.
  • Proficient in design, deliver and manage the customized ABAP solutions and interfaces with 3rd party systems.

     

    BPC Solution :

  • Should have good  insight into functional aspect of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 10 and 10.1
  • Hands on experience in BPC
  • Good understanding of accounting principles in terms of consolidation of financial statements and working knowledge in supporting consolidation and planning application.
