Enterprise IT

Al-Futtaim Enterprise IT provides support to the Al-Futtaim Group across all geographies. It manages the IT application and infrastructure across various lines of business including Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services. The core components of EIT are Business Application Management, Infrastructure &Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance.

About the Position:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Application Specialist - Finance to work as part of the Application Support team, within the Enterprise IT department of Al Futtaim.  The role will be based from our Dubai office and will report into the Manager, Business Applications.  The main purpose of this role is to assist with solution support and development activities. It provides a dedicated and professional solution knowledge base, together with deployment and domain expertise.

It is the responsibility of the Application Specialist - Finance to manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain respective domain solutions to agreed service level standards; to investigate and develop specifications for system changes to handle workloads and high availability whilst developing and maintaining documentation for Technical Solution modifications. Working with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions;  to adhere to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices alongside estimating and delivering multiple projects assignments and system change requests as per agreed resourcing and timelines with the required quality.

 

About You:

To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate of Accounting / Information Technology or a related discipline and will have a minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in an SAP BPC implementation and support environment.  It is essential that you have an excellent  insight into technical and functional aspect of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 10 and 10.1.

Experience in BPC Data Modelling, Controls, Business Rules, Consolidation Monitor, Transformation & Data Packages, Script logic, BPF, Dimension design, Work status  and Security would be preferable. SAP EPM Report writer – Input forms and reports. Building complex reports and input schedule.

As both technical and functional experience is a requirement for this position it is expected that you will have a good understanding of accounting principles in terms of consolidation and financial statements. The ideal candidate should have implemented at least one end to end consolidation and planning application in their past experience.
