Job Purpose:

You will be primarily responsible for the day to day planning execution within the Fashion and Lifestyle Division for Fashion and Sports.

You will support the Planning for Fashion and Sports to execute these strategies to ensure adherence to budgeted Availability, Forward cover, stock turn, Inventory value and aged stock through defined processes.

About the Job:

Inventory Planning:

  • Support the Planning Manager to ensure physical product movements are moved accurately according to the ‘promotional template
  • Support the Planning Manager in the category assortment planning and space management plans via the implementation of planograms
  • Regular monitoring of Open To Buy values by category and provide inputs to the buying team around deviations
  •  The JH will control and maintain the end to end OTB process

Forecasting & Replenishment

  • Assist the Planning Manager to optimise forward cover, stock turn, inventory value and aged stock value per business objectives
  • Recommend quantity details to the buying team regularly to ensure compliance to budgeted inventory values and provide key vendor forecasts to ensure high stock availability
  • Support the Planning manager to monitor and improve Vendor Performance
  • Support Demand Planning manager in strategic enhancement and implementation of all demand planning and supply chain processes, taking the initiative

To drive the allocation processes  of product

  • The JH will support the Planning Manager to drive and maintain the product allocation processes during
  • a. Promotional Periods
  • b. Seasonal promotional periods eg XMAS, DSF, DSS
  • c. When a new SKU is introduced into the company
  • Promotional and seasonal events to be made successful, in terms of stock provisions
  • Inventory at stores and DCs must be within stipulated levels

 SAP Inventory Management & Maintenance & SOPs

  • Ensure that SAP is maintained and operating effectively and efficiently from an inventory point of view
  • Ensure replenishment parameters, lead times. regularly conform to business levels
  • Maintain min & max stock level at stores as defined by business
  • Understand gaps in the existing inventory control process & take corrective action to address these gaps in a timely manor
  • Assist the inventory Manager with the development and enforcement of robust inventory/ stock policies, procedures (SOPs) and ensure that the replenishment system in SAP is operating efficiently.

Innovation & Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide periodic updates to the relevant stakeholders and conduct recurrent stakeholder meetings to ensure effective relationship and align with their expectation
  • Identify the areas of opportunities and improve operational efficiency

About You:

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Forecasting and planning experience
  • Some experience in negotiation
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics Operations in multi-country environment; GCC experience preferred
  • Change Management,
  • Expertise evaluating contractual terms and developing contracts
  • Advanced analytical skills,
  • Excellent English  communication skills (strong presentation skills) (Arabic a bonus) 
  • Problem-solving skills.
