Al-Futtaim Automotive Training Academy

A first-of-its kind training institution that will provide internationally accredited training in a world class facility that is unique in the UAE automotive industry. The Automotive Academy is an important enabler in Al-Futtaim Automotive Division's objective to be the automotive company of choice through providing value based customer experiences enabled by an empowered and engaged workforce.

About the Position:

As a member of AAA operations team – to support the Department Head to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with major emphasis on cost control, accounting processes, business proposals and approvals.

  • To effectively process accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed asset purchases in line with Academy’s yearly budget in co-ordination with Finance Department.
  • To demonstrate continuous improvement methods for effective cost control, accurate financial transaction activities of the Academy.
  • To assist Training Operation Manager with the external training vendor management process.
  • To assist Training Operations Manager in generating AFE’s and Internal notes for the Academy to ensure all the necessary approvals are timely sourced.
  • To Assist Training Operation manager in ensuring all the Automotive financial records are centrally stored for easy access to the Automotive Management Team.
  • To provide dedicated support for the Automotive Academy Administration Team in line with Service level agreements to reflect a high quality, premium brand delivery.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • University degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Previous experience in a similar position in a world class organization will be advantageous
  • Strong computer skills - including ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) and advanced MS-Excel knowledge
