About the Job:

This position is responsible for the country wide, After Market business of the Construction Equipment Division and reports to the General Manager Construction Equipment. It is anticipated this position will spend 60% of its time in the field and will promote sales of spare parts, service through workshops and the sale of Service Agreements.  You will be responsible for managing a team of After Market Sales Executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides supervision and direction to the After Market Sales Executives 
  • Prepares parts sales forecasts, Service Agreement Objectives and ensures that these are achieved and exceeded.
  • Periodically provides the principals an After Market Business Plan and measuring our performance against the plan 
  • Maintains direct contacts with Key customer Accounts and frequently visits all customers along with respective After Market Sales Executive 
  • New Business development  
  • Effective marketing of Customer Service Agreements / Inspection Programs. This requires on-site equipment inspection presentation of inspection results.  Provides feedback on Service Agreement scope & pricing for consideration 
  • Analyses competition information and aftermarket offerings received from the customers and recommends strategies (pricing, technical, logistics) to stay ahead of / or counter  competition 
  • Ensures that customer complaints related to parts and services are properly managed and coordinates internally to ensure swift resolution
  •  Communicates clearly with customers and updates them of any change in policies at FAMCO which could affect their accounts


About You:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering


Minimum Experience:

3 to 5 year of relevant experience in Aftermarket Business Development within the Construction Equipment field.
