About the Position:

The Online Merchandiser supports and assists the Online Trading Specialist across trading and merchandising, product content and online promotional activities across multiple categories for the Al-Futtaim e-Stores. They also have the responsibility for providing coaching and support for the team of Online Merchandisers and will also be deputizing for the Trading Specialist when they are on vacation or away from the office. 


This is a start-up business within Al-Futtaim Group. The position is primarily responsible for trading and merchandising a key category across the Al-Futtaim e-stores within the e-Commerce channel. It is important to build strong relationship with the Brands to ensure that we are aligned on product content, availability and promotional activity.   

About You:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Range/category experience or previous company experience at the same level
  • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Highly operational, with an understanding of retail processes
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills – someone who quickly grasps the key drivers of the fast fashion market


Minimum Experience:

  • Graduate caliber with at least 2 years’ experience in a Commercial Omni Chanel enviroment
  • Minimum 18 months experience in a Trading/Merchandising role within an eCommerce environment


Job-Specific Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Good working knowledge / experienced user of an eCommerce content management system
