Enterprise IT

Al-Futtaim Enterprise IT provides support to the Al-Futtaim Group across all geographies. It manages the IT application and infrastructure across various lines of business including Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services. The core components of EIT are Business Application Management, Infrastructure &Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance.

About the Position:

As part of our Enterprise IT department this role is accountable for the IT Asset management and Financial administration the EIT division.  They will manage a team of resources who will ensure all IT Assets are tracked and managed as well as providing cost spend and recovery analysis and reporting.

Financial Responsibilities and IT Recoveries:
• Administering, disbursing, reconciling and booking of petty cash
• To ensure timely clearance of vendor Invoices by checking signed DO’s / service reports for the IT items/ services received and obtaining approvals from respective departments on services received and work completed
• Responsible for timely Vendor payments.
• Monitoring & reviewing GL’s related to expenses, recovery and projects
• Monitoring EIT recoveries and ensuring that all EIT services are timely charged back to the business.
• Monitoring of monthly reports on ICM receivables, GL’s and to submit the same to senior management within EIT for their further perusal
• Assist EIT management in preparing the annual budget by providing details on actuals and provisions against budget
• Coordination with various Business Finance Mangers for the acceptance of ICM for EIT services and support.

Monitoring of Procurement & Contracts:
Custodian of all the hardware, software and other non IT maintenance contracts and renewal. To ensure timely renewal of all contracts and payment to vendor so that the IT services are not interrupted.
• Ensures that the procurement process is in line with the finance / Audit policy
• Review and control creation of Purchase order’s in SAP based on technically verified quotes and relevant Business approvals, so that cost doesn’t exceed budget
• Budget tracking and coordination within EIT Team (OPEX, CAPEX & EIT Internal Related Project)
• Ensure timely goods receipts, invoice clearance and coordination with SSF for vendor payments & issues. 
• Review open LPO’s with SSF

Leadership & Team Management
• Lead a lean, skilled and fully engaged team; working with them to plan and prioritise their workloads, set objectives, conduct appraisals and supported to continually improve their performance and results.
• Develop team in line with target competencies and build adequate bench strength for future.
• Establish clear objectives, roles and responsibilities of the team.
• Resources assigned to project teams, to be managed as appropriate to the needs of application support priorities.
• Motivate team members to maintain excellence in service delivery and have opportunities for professional development.
• Promote and fast-track your talent within EIT
Telecommunication & Network Support:
• Authorized signatory for Etisalat and DU.
• Administer, manage & coordinate on telecommunication billing, records, and summarize the billings for the AF Group to ensure smooth network support and timely payment to avoid any disconnection of the Data services within the Group, this includes ordering and disconnection of Data circuits and voice lines as well as co-ordination with new Service provider DU for new iphone  requests in Plan 1 & 2 for the entire AF Group.

Other Key Responsibilities
• Manage divisional administrative work for EIT including internal & external responsibilities to ensure an excellent working environment, service to all employees and a smooth management reporting system

 

 

About You:

Our minimum requirements are:

Education 
Minimum graduate in Technology / Business Administration

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Administration / asset management/ logistics preferably in an IT industry
