Job Purpose:

You will be accountable to positioning the IKEA store as the “leader in life at home” in all our markets. This by creating strategies and creative directions for the store design, communication (online/In store), visual merchandising, Interior design and campaigns.

You will Protect the IKEA Brand identity and you will create the visual impact throughout the meeting with the customer in all our channels. 
About the Job:

 Description of the Accountability:

  • For the design and direction of development in store design, interior design, visual merchandising and communication platforms. (online/in store)
  • To set the creative direction in campaigns, store designs and store developments.
  • To create long-term home furnishing objectives, regional commercial strategies this with the knowledge of life at home in our region.
  • Alignment between the stores based on the regional strategies with local relevance for their markets.
  • As head for managing multiple design units in different countries and cultures.
  • To lead different team head/managers in the communication & interior design department in the different locations to increase their knowledge in people’s life at home, consumer behavior and in store design, communication, visual merchandising and interior design.
  • Setting the goals for the different functional com & in heads in the stores to reach the goals in the customer experience in all our channels and that they seek for constantly improvements and optimization.
  • For initiating and leading new systems, ideas, ways of working that meet strategic decisions in store design, communication, visual merchandising and interior design.
  • Overview all allocated costs to com & in expenses budgets for the different stores

  • Experience and understanding of Retail operations
  • Understanding of working with P&L
  • Outstanding skills in understanding store layouts, interior design proposal and communication proposal 
  • Experience of handling teams and people’s development
  • Alignment with IKEA values
  • Strategic and creative thinking/able to set a creative direction for campaigns and set directions for new store designs
  • Dynamic, meets deadlines and make it happen
