About the Position:
As part of the Aftersales team, you will be responsible to provide co-operation, help and assistance to junior and senior co. workers by advising diagnosis procedures and efficient / correct work procedures

Your responsibilities will be but not be limited to the following:

-Developing good level of communication by ensuring that explanation of the work done or required to be done is well
understood by Service Advisor, Foreman, other staff and customers.
-Provide technical input to spare parts staff to assist in correct part identification and supply
-Ensuring quality by producing extremely low level of return jobs
-Suggest training needs for other technicians; also undergo training and update self-knowledge


About You:

To qualify for this role you will have met these requirements at the minimum:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  Trade Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Eng

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in reputed workshops

Behavioural Competencies :

  1. Can you explain to the customer & sales staff the function, operation, and features of each of the following mechanisms / systems?


  • Turbo Charger
  • ECT (Electronically Controlled Transmission)
  • Full -Time 4WD (4 Wheel Drive)

  • EMAS (Electronically modulated Air Suspension)

  •  ABS (Anti -Lock Brake System) and TRC / TRAC (Traction Control System)

  •  CCS (Cruise Control System)

  • Car Audio System

  • Automatic Air Conditioning System

  1. When troubleshooting the ECT, ABS, TEMS/ EMAS and CCS, can you diagnose and repair problems quickly and accurately using scanners and diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).

  2. Can you distinguish different types of NVH and driveability concerns and diagnose and repair them properly.

    Does he have the ability to gather / present technical information to be fed back to principles for product improvement through FCR?
