About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced PR Executive to join the Head Office of Al Futtaim Motors.The main purpose of this role is to assist and support the Communications Manager in running a fully functioning Communication Department. 

As part of the Marketing team you will be responsible for co-developing and implementing the Communication plans of Al-Futtaim Motors and the brands it represents as per the annual strategies and set KPIs; maintaining the company’s leadership in the UAE / Pan Arab media by securing  high-level placements in print, broadcast and digital publications, with a strong focus on lifestyle and green titles; creating and implementing the digital media strategy while building a reach out program for social influencers and developing relevant digital material along side leveraging existing media relationships and cultivating new contacts in Automotive, Business, Lifestyle, Hospitality and Travel, Inflight and Environmental titles.

You should be able to write an editorial brief, collect the right information from the various department within the business, brief the agency accordingly, verify if the material supplied by the agency is according to the brief, amend any incorrect information and make sure the final editorial adheres to the guidelines and requirements set by the Communications Manager.

You should be able to prepare LPOs and other financial letters required by the department and liaise with the agency and the supplier that all financials are up-to-date.

About You:

To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate and will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a  hands-on public relations roles with automotive brands (experience in luxury PR is a bonus). It is essential that you possess solid Media Relations within the UAE media landscape across channels and tiers and have demonstrable excellent verbal and written communication skills

As prior PR experience is a requirement for this position it is expected that you will have a  solid portfolio of corporate communications deliverables and writing samples, alongside a strong capability of managing third party suppliers. You will act as the face of the company and therefore will have a proactive, professional and presentable nature.
