About the Position:

Based in Dubai and as part of the Shared Service Finance Team this role has a responsibility to manage a team of 19 staff and reports directly into the General Manager of our Shared Service Finance division. 

The job holder will monitor the finance and accounting functions of Al-Futtaim Group corporate entities, ensure compliance with IFRS and established policies and procedures of the group.

Other responsibilities will be the preparation & review of Budgets, Forecasts for corporate entities in coordination with various departments, ensure timely month-end close. Regular Review of General Ledger for all corporate entities, provide complete support to Auditors during audit 
Ensure appropriate controls on expenses as per DOA, policies & procedures of AF group
You will also work on various IT projects as well as other initiatives driven by Group Finance, ensure performance management for direct reports, guide and motivate them to give their best, liaise between various finance teams, corporate departments, Group Directors and SSF to ensure common objectives are met for the group and manage the regional accountants in GCC 


About You:

Minimum Qualifications are any accounting professional qualification (CA/ ICWA/ ACCA) with expertise in Financial and management accounting in a fully computerized environment along with being an effective communicator, coupled with a minimum experience of  8-10 years in F&A space for a large company with many different business units



Candidates must be technically sound on compliance, IFRS, accounting principles & Budgeting/Forecasting, with strong communications skills considering the spread of employees that this position needs to interact across various levels within the organization and the ability to manage, motivate and get the best from the team.
