About the Role:

With operational offices in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and a large client base; the successful incumbent must be able to progressively monitor and manage staff together with the continuous successful delivery of SSLV budgetary targets as prescribed by the Divisional Manager. Your responsibilities will be to identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; research and analyze sales options. Identify & access all of the risks associated with tendering including cost & timing after award of the projects and services. Conduct value engineering studies and exercises to ensure cost savings to SSLV and provide value added benefits to the client. Oversee the verification and confirmation of BOQ, prelims & other expenses in advance to avoid unwarranted / unaccounted costs. In conjunction with the Divisional Manager actively manage the OPEX for delivery so as to optimize performance and net margin. Submit weekly reports on all sales operations and projects to the management clearly showing escalations where required along with project based cost savings. Delivery schedule to be provided to the commercial team at the beginning of each project. Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.

Your role will be based in Dubai. You will report into the Divisional Manager.

About You:

To be considered for this exciting role, you need to have a Bachelor's degree. PMP certifications are an asset. Certifications in CCTV, ACS, Intrusion Detection (ELV Systems) are an added advantage. You should have minimum 10+ years sales experience in the security systems & low voltage domain, of which at least 3 years are in a management role wherein he / she has successfully and independently managed complete projects. This experience should be within a large system integrator. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous experience you must have a strong work ethic, competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to solve business problems in collaboration with peers in sales, support, business development, technical servicing, etc. Knowledge of security system regulatory requirements in the U.A.E.

Along with previous experience you must be familiar with the preparation of legal / contractual / commercial documents in english as required for the projects. An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner are required. Must always be updated on the various changes in physical security solutions (like CCTV, ACS, PIDS, Intrusion Detection, etc) and all realted integrations that are available with the company and partners or offered by the competitors. Must be a techno-commercial with hands-on technical experience as well has excellent commercial knowledge. Must be very knowledgable in HSE / PPE requirements for any type of construction site or industrial projects. Maintain a strong network of contacts in the ICT industry to ensure that the ‘best fit’ can be identified to handle projects. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, time management, project management skills. Excellent knowledge of the construction industry and their processes / procedures including HSE / PPE requirements. Good leadership & teamwork skills with ability to learn new technologies.
