About the job:

The duties and responsibilities for this role are:

  1. To provide support to the Senior Vice President in running the department's operations efficiently. 
  2. Manages front and back office, including survey works as it relates to individual customers.  Taking care of other fleet customers in case of exigencies as advised by the Vice President.
  3. Manages salvage recovery and claims for all branches excluding Oman.
  4. Approves claims delegated as per Motor Financial Authority and recommends to higher authorities for claims falling within the purview as above, including claims files referred by branches.
  5. Manages GAP claims and reinsurance related functions.
  6. Monitor garage empanelment and process payment to agencies and garage.
  7. System approval up to authorized limit, signing of credit/debit notes and other documents like total loss, offer letters in the capacity of Assistant Vice President - Motor Claims Administration.
  8. Support other team in the absence of other Assistant Vice President.
  9. To ensure that members of the department provide a high level of customer service to all clients.
  10. To ensure that office management are handled effectively.
  11. To continuously guide and develop team members.
About you:

To be successful in winning this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Holding a relevant university degree.
  • Associateship from Chartered Insurance Institute of UK or a similar qualification is preferable.
  • Having 8 to 10 years of work experience in an insurance industry within the gulf region, at least 4 years of which is in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge in Motor Claims processes and administration.
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and communication skills.
