About the job:

We are currently looking to recruit Assistant Vice President for Agency to generate and secure new business and operational objectives in a profitable manner consistent with a high standard of professionalism and client satisfaction.  The duties and responsibilities for this role are:

  1. Plan, analyse and develop marketing strategies and actions in order to ensure new/additional business and enhance profitability and market share.
  2. Produce the required volume of insurance business from the designated areas in order to achieve or exceed the assigned premium and operational objectives.
  3. Train, motivate and develop the field sales staff in order to enhance their individual performance and achieve their assigned commercial and operational objectives with efficiency and high standard of professionalism.
  4. Review and monitor the premium payment status in order to actively follow up timely collection of the outstanding.
  5. Collect and collate business and market conditions related data and prepare reports and formulate appropriate recommendations for management information and decision making in order to counter competition and increase the company's market share of the business.
  6. Identify and recruit highly motivated and experienced field sales staff and agents in order to effectively cover and exploit the market for generating business revenues. 
About you:

The required qualification for this role are the following:

  • Bachelor degree holder preferably Marketing or Insurance Diploma.
  • Having over 10 years of work experience in the field of insurance, at least 3 to 4 years in managerial position.
  • Having good selling skills and with in-depth knowledge of the market.
  • Excelent communication and negotiation skills.
