Real Estate

Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) is responsible for the development and operations of Al-Futtaim’s real estate businesses across the Middle East and North Africa which includes:

Dubai Festival City, a 520 hectare waterfront mixed use community, opened in 2005.

Cairo Festival City, a 290 hectare mixed use development, opened in DeceMDer 2013. .

Doha Festival City, comprising 433,847 sq m (land) + 250,000 sq m (GLA), IKEA opened in March 2013.

Al-Futtaim Real Estate

Al-Futtaim Real Estate offers comprehensive services from selection of site and feasibility studies to construction and property management. The range of properties administered and leased in the UAE includes warehouses, showrooms, workshops, offices, villas and apartment buildings. Al Futtaim's warehousing complex at Rashidia in Dubai, measuring over one million square feet, is by far the largest owned by any company in the Gulf. This is used as a central warehouse for the group, stocking vast quantities of electronic goods, automobiles, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment and inventories of spare parts. The company also has some 200,000 square feet of showroom space and 600,000 square feet of workshops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain. Among the largest of these are the showrooms of Al Futtaim Panatech and Al Futtaim Motors in Dubai.

Residential properties in Dubai owned by Al Futtaim Real Estate, include some 900 apartments and villas like Al Garhoud, Safa village and Al Hamriya Villa Compounds, Dar Al Muteena, Dar Al Buteen, Dar Al Buteen II, Dar Al Khabeesi, and Dar Al Muragabat. These properties are characterised by a high standard of accommodation and leisure facilities. In keeping with the economic growth of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai, it is envisaged that Al-Futtaim Real Estate will concentrate its efforts and resources towards the development of prestigious real estate complexes to supplement the growing demand for commercial and residential properties.

About the Position:

The Talent Manager will develop and maintain core talent processes and implement Group wide programs, related to employee development, succession planning, performance management, organizational development and employee engagement. 

Key Duties:  

  • Support the creation and manage the execution of company-wide strategic talent management initiatives including the design and development of frameworks, processes and enablement tools and materials


  • Drive critical talent outcomes including HIPO identification and development, performance management, succession planning, career development and talent reviews. This will include discussing potential, action plans, next assignments and expected results


  • Lead group wide Talent Management programs on an ongoing basis and project manage development and delivery (e.g. talent mobility, performance management, engagement)


  • Identifying and differentiating potential, giving constructive continuous performance feedback, conducting career development discussions to build the business and leadership capabilities for future needs
  • Drive the regional agenda of people’s development by identifying critical business skills, conducting gap analysis to assess current position and identify development interventions. This will include preparing fresh graduates or national talent for more responsible positions and increase their effectiveness in present assignments

  • Manage and implement bespoke training programs/and workshops, practices and procedures for stakeholders including the design, development, and delivery


  • Oversees the development of Business needs analysis and align it with business strategy and the 10/20/70 model and training practices/polices. BNA will be developed and implemented based on knowledge of blended training methods (e.g. group instruction/lectures, demonstrations, workshops, job shadowing and individual coaching) and using knowledge of identified training needs, company processes and systems


  • Develop specific programs and action plans aimed to address business priorities and growing capability

About You:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Qualification or Certification in any field preferably Human Resources or Psychology


Minimum Experience:

  • 12 – 15 years’ experience
  • GCC experience is a must

  • Expert knowledge of Talent Management programs, trends and development principles, including learning principles, instructional design, performance management, and training evaluation
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with all levels of an organization, including skills in relationship building and gaining support for new initiatives
  • Very strong intellectual/and coaching skills (comfort in front of leaders of all levels and many different group sizes)
  • Project management skills and abilities, with ability to lead multiple projects in a matrix environment
