About the Job:

As a construction manager your core responsibility is to assume overall responsibility for a profitable, well-constructed, safe project, completed in a timely manner.

The key accountabilities for this role are: Reviewing project proposal and pertinent documents with project & management team; Determining the most cost effective construction methods and use of personnel, material, equipment and subcontractors; Reviewing and approve subcontractor selections and invoicing; Coordinating construction activities with the client, subcontractors and Company personnel; Managing project staff, including assigned support staff, supervisors, engineers, foreman, and technicians; Promoting, enforce and establish safety as a priority as part of the Company’s QHSC policy; Ensure work to be executed based on project programme and same to be monitored and maintain the quality; Ensuring that management is accurately and fully informed of project costs as compared to budgets through weekly manpower, work progress and monthly budget reports; Coordinating and provide direction for the budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost and construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project; Initiating, establishing and maintaining working relationships with client, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities; Organising, conducting and representing the company at project coordination meetings at regular agreed upon intervals; Reviewing and approving subcontractor, vendor payments; Negotiating, preparing, issue and execute change orders (proposals) to clients, design team, subcontractors and others, and prepare revisions to original budget as a result of changes and revisions to work; Ensuring timely and accurate billings and accounts receivables; Ensuring timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries and the management of material and document submittal/approvals; Leading and participating in regular schedule project staff meetings; Managing Closeout process; Enforcing and adhere to all Policies and Processes as it relates to this position; Actively participates on internal team(s) that focus on continuous improvement of the business

About You:

You are required to have a Bachelors in Engineering from any recognized University with over 10-15 years of experience in managing MEP construction projects in GCC Countries.

Experience in estimation is an advantage & Knowledge of projects plans, specifications, Owner Contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittal and all other project related documents and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built drawings
