About The Position:

We are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager for our Truck & Bus Segment, The ideal candidate responsibility is to deliver incremental top line revenue growth of the Truck & Bus Division of FAMCO International. This growth is expected to be achieved through;

  • Penetration into new segments with the existing product portfolio in conjunction with Country organizations.
  • Expansion of the product portfolio.
  • Expansion into new geographies.
  • Merger and acquisition activities.

Shall be responsible for but limiting to the following duties:

  • Develop a pipeline of leads and opportunities through personal contact, research on websites, research through publications, market intelligence and attendance as appropriate exhibitions, conferences and related business forums.
  • Facilitate the roll out of new business opportunities by providing input to investment requests and ultimately creating and implementing activity plans for such opportunity realization.
  • Support the Country based sales organizations by providing necessary information on new sales opportunities such as Tender documents, sales strategies, partnership agreements, market analysis and intelligence and other salient information in order to participate and close deals.
  • Recommend to management with supporting business plans potential new Principal Agreements.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to business core activities.
  • 5 Years’ in a B2B Business Development / Sales role in direct or closely related      industry, showing clear personal incremental growth contribution to the business.
  • Sound knowledge of the light & heavy commercial vehicle and concrete equipment business’ together with solid experience of complimentary products and  segments such as superstructures, trailers, special applications, firefighting & rescue, oil & gas, airport & municipality solutions, urban transportation, new energy vehicles, peace-keeping & humanitarian sectors etc.
